The REAL Toothless Wonder!

Sean lost his other front tooth! He can sing "All I Want For Christmas is My Two Front Teeth" with real passion this year! I will post a picture soon.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. What a joy to be with family at the holidays. We are all planning to meet at Bubby and PawPaw's over the Christmas break.

Here is what is happening in the world of our adoption:
Beverley, our SW, is completing our Homestudy! Next it goes to the USCIS (US Citizenship and Immigration Services, formerly INS)where our Petition to Adopt an Orphan (I600A) will be approved after lengthy background checks. This process can take anywhere from 6 weeks to 4 months. They aren't known for their speed or competence.....Pray for a speedy turn around! Once this comes back and we get it notarized, certified, and authenticated we can send ALL our stuff (Probably like 4 pounds of documents) to our agency where they will review it thoroughly and then translate it. That usually takes a couple of weeks....then it is off to CHINA. This is our DTC date---Dossier to China. We are aiming for an early February DTC. It usually takes China 3 or 4 weeks to log our dossier in...this is our LID, or Log In Date. It is from this date, our LID, that the wait begins. The wait right now is the longest ever in the history of China adoptions. There are so many rumors floating around out there...I refuse to believe that we will have to wait 2 or 3 years for our baby. Please pray for a HUGE speed up with the CCAA (Chinese Center of Adoption Affairs) so we can get our baby (babies?!) in the spring of 2008....or sooner.
