A Close Call

So, we sent our things to Austin to have them certified by the TX Secretary of State. Thankfully, we decided to use a courier. She received the packet on Friday, had them certified, and sent them via Fed Ex to the courier in Houston for authentication. We needed to have them to the Houston courier first thing this morning because the Chinese Consulate is closing next week for a week because of Chinese New Year. I received an email from the Austin courier saying that Fed Ex had our packet scheduled for a MONDAY delivery instead of a SATURDAY delivery. She must have spent a great deal of time problem solving....the mistake was Fed Ex's. In the end, the packet was delivered this morning (Saturday) at 10:30. Phewwww!
