Our Family Trip to the White River

Last weekend we took a fun family trip to the White River in Arkansas. We rented some cabins and had a great time. The trip was much too short but it sure was fun! Sean went fly fishing (and Jennie gave it a shot, too!) and R. was able to spend the afternoon on the river. He caught a couple of rainbows and a brown.
Betsy and I tie-dyed t-shirts with the kids. I forgot to bring rubber gloves so we all had tie-dyed hands too!
We went to dinner one night in Mountain View. After dinner we went "downtown" where they have all kinds of live folk music. Mom, Dad, and Betsy had been several years ago and Dad was so excited to find his favorite group performing!
Mostly it was just great to have the kids play together. It makes me so sad that Andy lives so far and he and Janna and their kids couldn't be there. We missed them! Jamey leaves for his 2 year missionary work in Nova Scotia and Newfoundland in a couple weeks so we had our goodbyes. I can't believe that he could be all grown up...my first nephew!
